This year had passed so quickly I thought I photographed this wedding last year. A lot is going on and it's a fruitful year. Was very fortunate to observe this wedding of Lisa & Justyn at Australia earlier this year. It is a very memorable trip and finally I get to experience what my photo would looked like if I were to shoot at a different country. It's safe for me to say without any editing yet, I could already see the colors looking pleasantly different at the back of the camera lcd even it's a cloudy day. Not to say it's not nice in Malaysia, they are uniquely different especially the colors of the light and greenery.
The flow of the day is easily one of the most packed I have ever photographed throughout my career. Chinese customary in the morning, followed by a garden ceremony, a quick portrait and off to the reception. All back to back. I were trying my very best creating the sameday express slideshow whenever I could including inside a moving car. The sense of accomplishment were huge when I could make it ready before the dinner ends. Very glad the outcome were well received by everyone.
&.b.t.w. - I have a love hate relationship with the cool and dry weather during my stay. What I love is I hardly sweat throughout the day but the down side is I wake up with a dry, sore throat and might be too late to realize I'm dehydrated when the migraine is felt.
&.&.b.t.w. - To sum up 2013, I felt contented with so many kind people I get to meet, am really really grateful and there are so many of you to thank for. The least I can do is to stay true to myself and to improve on what I do best. Wishing all of you a great 2014.
