5 years ago, CheeHan & Reza had their wedding in Lone Pine Hotel, Penang. I get to know CheeHan cause I helped Joan with replying some enquiries on makeup back then. But they already had their wedding photographer booked that time.
Fast forward this year, CheeHan & Reza are coming back to Penang again all the way from Netherlands to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary together with their boy Sam at the very same hotel they got married. Quoting what CheeHan said to me, 'You were always the photographer I had in mind for our 5 years anniversary shoot. I knew it the day after our wedding! It was just a matter of time.'
Sam is very cute, first set of pictures is like 'oh no, strangers in the room' and he is observing me with the big black box carefully holding his favorite aapy. He loves both the father and mother but has an issue when the father gets too close to the mother! Very happy to be seeing familiar faces again and regardless, this is exactly the vision I had for a Family Diary session that I enjoy creating. There's no pretense, it's not about perfection nor aware about the camera all the time but really just family spending time together being themselves.
