So, what kind of a wedding is a dream wedding to you? I'd pick a beach wedding anytime.
Often, getting to see or photograph an awesome wedding is not complete. Until I get to know how things go about until the day it is. Very fortunate that Siaw Ching & Steve shared their personal story with me.
It happened that Siaw Ching went to a party in Virginia in 2008 and then some chemistry sparked off between her and Steve. Soon, an 'outrageous' long distance & huge time difference relationship between US and Malaysia kicked off. Steve's humour & talent caught Siaw Ching deeply while the adventurous spirit & genuine character of Siaw Ching attracts Steve. They both adore each other's kindness
Years later Siaw Ching went to US for further education and when I first met her at the Andaman, I'm surprised Mandarin was the language that she kept speaking with. She misses home badly and as you'd know, it's not easy to be alone in a foreign land and different culture. Recalling her experience, she just couldn't hold her tears during the speech in reception.
With enormous amount of mental support from the Malaysia family and the new found Miller family in the US, it shaped what had happened on this beach wedding at Andaman, Langkawi. Steve made Siaw Ching believed that he wanted to celebrate the completion of her hectic New York bar exam. Instead, a proposal ring was hid in the dessert.
Siaw Ching always wanted a beach wedding - exchanging vows at the beach under the sun. After coming through several islands and resorts, she fell in love with The Andaman, Langkawi and their Tepian Laut venue for reception. She was looking for something that felts 'authentically-Malaysia' and Andaman filled her top spot - with the very effective and friendly staff team to help plan this destination wedding.
Enjoy what Siaw Ching had planned, with only the best friends and closest family members that completes the celebration.
